I finally got to do a face of the day featuring both my Port Red lipstick from the Naughty Nauticals collection and Comet Blue from the Dazzleglass collection. I know, I know, I am very late on this one, but this girl has been a serious busy bee these past two months!

Now I know that alot of people like to stay away from red lipstick. It seems to be so intimidating! But honestly, I think that there is a red shade for everyone out there and while it may take some time to find that perfect match, trust me that once you do, it'll be heaven! One important thing to remember however is that red lips are very striking and speak for themselves. When going for a look with red lipsticks a nude or toned down eye look works best. While some people like to be daring and pair smokey eyes with red lips, I actually like to stay away from that idea. I think that red lips are dramatic enough and don't need heavy eye makeup to take away from their focus. Trust me when I say that simple black eye liner will always do the trick!

Here however, I jazzed up my eyes SLIGHTLY with some nude tones from the Neo Sci-Fi collection (I cannot get enough of this stuff...sorry!), and of course I sealed the deal with black liner. I applied all of the shadows dry for a softer look. This look is very simple, wearable day or night, but still very eye-catching. Hope you like!
