A day in the life of moi can be very random. One minute I can be sitting in my office working my butt away while the stock markets go haywire, then the next minute I can be swimming in a pool of beauty products  that are just all waiting to be played with; and then of course there are times when I end up at numerous studio sessions for long, long hours in company of some of my closest and dearest friends. And recently I did just that.

I decided to head over to Diddy's 'Daddy's House Recording Studio' the other night after work to go do some catching up with my homegirl Cassie. She's been hard at work in the recording studio finishing up her sophmore album titled Official Girl, and I decided to swing by and distract her for a while (all on Diddy's tab - of course) for some girl-to-girl time with her.

Now for those of you who don't known Cassie personally, I can honestly tell you that while she is a serious showstopper on the red carpet; in her comfort zone she becomes the silliest person I know! She is such a big kid and I love it! And, when me and her get together it equals nothing but trouble -- and giggles!

So we chatted, gossiped and caught up with each other's lives until she raided the MAC shopping bag I had in my hands and she started playing with my Manish Arora haul. That's when I decided to for once treat her as 'subject' and put her in the hot seat!

I formally 'interviewed' her and asked her about all her beauty secrets and of course being the friend that she is, she spilled the beans! And I warn you...as I mentioned earlier Cassie is a very big goof ball and very silly, so there was alot of back and forth in my 'interview' that I had to edit out because we couldn't stop laughing at each other. But nonetheless she cooperated and it turned out great.

ROSELYN: Okay, so let's focus for a minute Miss Thing! I need to interview you for my website!

CASSIE: Um...okay. Where's your press pass? [giggles]

ROSELYN: Just do what I say! [giggles] Okay, now lets get serious here. First question, what is your everday beauty routine when you're not doing any public appearances?

CASSIE: Well to be honest if I'm just coming to the studio to do some work, like today, girl you know I don't even bother with make-up. Seriously all I have on right now is some tinted moisturizer by La Mer and some Rosebud Salve on my lips. That's it! My whole thing is, if I don't have to wear any make-up then I don't!

ROSELYN: Amen to that! So of course, you know I abide by the same rule despite my love for make-up.

CASSIE: Yes! I think it's very important to let your skin breathe.

ROSELYN: Okay, so what about when you hit the red carpet? What are the looks that you prefer to go for?

CASSIE: Generally, I like to have say in how my make-up ends up looking. I like to keep it as simple as possible. I don't think that loads of make-up look good on me. In photoshoots and videos that's fine, but not in public!

ROSELYN: So you're saying that you would never step out wearing make-up similar to what you had going on in Kanye's "Stronger" video?

CASSIE: NO! Are you crazy?! That was all strictly role play! Very beautiful on camera but girl...uh uh![laughs]

ROSELYN: So is there anything that you do hate about getting your make-up done for an appearance?

CASSIE: Lashes! Man, I hate lashes! I mean I love how they look but they are just so uncomfortable for me! I usually have them place the individual ones instead now. But I just can't get used to them.

ROSELYN: Stop being a baby! Okay, so what are three beauty products you can't live without?

CASSIE: I need a good moisturizer and so far this tinted one by La Mer which I am wearing has done me justice. I also always need a good lip balm, and of course mascara is a must for me. Right now I'm liking Lancome Definicils Pro. [I] Love Lancome! They make the best mascara. Ooh wait!! Can I name one more item?

ROSELYN: Sure.

CASSIE: Orgasm by NARS! It's my crack!

ROSELYN: Hey, lets not talk about drugs here! Let's keep it G rated!

CASSIE: You know what I mean! [laughs]

ROSELYN: Lastly, do you have any beauty tips you want to share with the readers?

CASSIE: Drink water, excercise and use sun protection every day! It's all you need.

ROSELYN: I agree! Thanks babe!

CASSIE: Sure!
